Luis, a senior center-back from Cali, Colombia, helped the Pioneers – after a close 1-0 loss to Southwestern Christian – post a clutch 2-0 victory over second-place OPSU. Toro and the Pioneers limited the Aggies to just four shots in what was their eighth shutout of the season.
 
The win clinched the No. 3 seed and a first-round home match in the conference tourney. Wayland will host that match against Texas Wesleyan at 4 p.m. Friday.
