Jibrael became the Pioneers’ all-time leader in blocked shots when he swatted nine in a 70-57 victory over OCU. It was the second straight game in which Jibrael, a 6-foot-8 senior center from Waco, reached his career-high with nine blocks, also doing it a week earlier against Langston. Deng D’Awol held the Pioneers’ record for career blocks with 158 from 1998-2001. In his third season, Washington now has 167 blocked shots. With 71 blocks on the season, Washington ranks fifth in the NAIA.
