Natalia Ugalde, a freshman from Mexico City, finished tied for third in the 56-player field at the Battle at Primm in Primm, Nev. After a first-round 80 left her tied for 13th place, Ugalde came back with an even-par 72 on the Primm Golf Club's 5,938-yard Lakes Course for a two-round 152, two shots behind the runner-up. Her 72 was the second-lowest score of the tournament. For her efforts, Natalia was named Sooner Athletic Conference Women's Golfer of the Week for March 24-30. Ugalde and the rest of the Pioneer women golfers next compete in the SAC Championships, to be hosted by Wayland on April 21 and 22 at La Paloma Country Club in Amarillo.
