The men's soccer team experienced its best season in the program's five-year history. The Pioneers set the school record for wins in a season with 13, and were ranked as high as ninth in the NAIA Top-25 Poll.

Miguel Teos and John-Ramses Thomas were both named NAIA Honorable Mention All-Americans, the first all-Americans in the program, and were named to the Sooner Athletic Conference First Team. Thomas was also named SAC Defensive Player of the Year. David Neuberth was the SAC Newcomer of the Year while Juan Sanchez was namend SAC Freshman of the year. Guillermo Villarreal and Travis Somersall joined Neuberth on the SAC second team.
