Shawna helped the Flying Queens, ranked the equivalent of 27th in the NAIA, to a 3-0 week with a trio of solid, consistent performances. The 5-foot-6 sophomore guard from Canyon scored between 11 and 15 points in all three games, getting 15 points, seven rebounds, five assists and two steals in a 73-69 win over No. 25 Texas Wesleyan in which she played all but three minutes. She was 13-of-13 from the free-throw line while shooting 44 percent (10-of-23) from the field and 50 percent (6-of-12) from 3-point range.
