The 14 Ks doubled his previous season-high and marked the seventh time in Tanner's career to log double-digit strikeouts. The fifth-year right-hander from Phoenix, now 3-3 on the season, has 49 strikeouts on the season (13^th in the NAIA) and 291 career strikeouts.
