Ethan helped the Pioneer baseball team to a 2-2 performance – including an 11-9 win over No. 2-ranked Oklahoma City – at the Sooner Athletic Conference Baseball Tournament in Oklahoma City. The 6-foot-4, 195-pound junior outfielder from Phoenix had a hit in all four games and went 8-for-13 overall, including three doubles with two walks, for a .615 batting average and .846 slugging percentage. He recorded five runs, one steal and one RBI. The Pioneers finished third in the tourney behind No. 2 OCU and No. 3 Oklahoma Baptist and are expected to receive just their second bid to the NAIA National Championships.
