Andrew, a freshman, finished 13th in the 155-player field at the NAIA Men’s Golf National Championships, helping the Pioneers to a fifth-place team finish. At the LPGA International in Daytona Beach, Fla., he shot 70-76-76-68—290 (2-over-par), with his 4-under-par round the second-lowest on the final day. Willliamson was named to the all-tournament team as well as to the Phil Mickelson NAIA All-Freshman Team, presented by the Golf Coaches Association of America. Coach Tom Harp on Williamson at the tournament: "To have a round under-par on this golf course, much less two, says a lot about a player.” Harp on Williamson’s season: "Andrew was kind of unheard of; he didn't have a huge pedigree in junior golf. But he's a very intelligent guy who has learned a lot about the golf swing, and that's paying off for him."
