Steven, a junior from Coquitlam, British Columbia, Canada, captured first place out of 52 golfers at the spring season-opening Claud Jacobs Invitational held at Victoria Country Club. His 6-over 222 (73-77-72) was good for a one-shot victory, secured as he played the final 12 holes 4-under. He finished the two-day tournament with 10 birdies and an eagle as he won his second career tournament and was named the year’s first Sooner Athletic Conference Men’s Golfer of the Week.
