Tyler is a freshman shortstop for the junior varsity baseball team. The 5-foot-11, 160-pound Stevens, a graduate of Lubbock Coronado High School, batted .334 for the Pioneers this season. Coach Tommy McMillan: "Tyler has shown great improvement throughout the season and has been very consistent both defensively and offensively."
