Somewhat lost in teammate Travis White’s three-interception day in Wayland’s 24-14 win over Southwestern Assemblies of God was linebacker Alden Mann’s performance. The senior all-American matched his own school record by making 22 tackles, including eight solo stops and 1½ tackles for loss, as the Pioneers shut out the Lions in the second half to secure their fourth straight win and improve to 5-1 overall and 2-0 in the CSFL.
