Dewayne, a senior from San Bernardino, Calif., posted the fastest time in the NAIA this season in the 600 yards -- 1 minute, 10.34 seconds -- at the Texas Tech Red Raider Open on Saturday in Lubbock. "Dewayne's time in the 600 was really fast and he came close to breaking the school record (1:09.85, 1985). It is the top time in the country," head coach Rohan Thompson said. Booker also was named Sooner Athletic Conference Men's Indoor Track Athlete of the Week.
