Brittany went undefeated in five matches at the NWCA Multi-Divisional National Duals in Fort Wayne, Ind., including wins over two ranked opponents (No. 4 and No. 8). She recorded two pins and two 10-0 technical falls and won the other match by 10-2 decision. Coach Aaron Meister: “Brittany picked up two key wins by avenging losses to ranked opponents from earlier this season. That was good to see. She had dropped out of the rankings, but this performance will get her back in there.” The No. 7 Pioneer women’s team finished fifth out of 16 teams, their second-best finish ever. WBU defeated No. 16 Emmanuel (Ga.), 29-16; No. 10 Southern Oregon, 33-15; No. 14 Jamestown (N.D.), 33-13; and No. 6 Cumberland (Tenn.), 30-14. Their only loss was to second-ranked McKendree (Ill.), 24-19.
