In Saturday's 85-79 overtime win over St. Greg's, Juhreece posted his first double-double of season with 25 points and 13 rebounds, plus had three blocks. The 6-foot-6, 260-pound junior from Hobbs, N.M., went 6-of-12 from the field and 13-of-17 from the free-throw line, including six clutch foul shots in overtime. He missed matching his season scoring high by two points. Coach Matt Garnett said Thompson "faced some adversity" early in the game, "and I really got after him. But I couldn't be more proud of his response to his adversity. He decided no matter what, he wasn't going to give in. That's a real testament to the young man he is."
