Chris, a freshman from Rowlett, tossed a complete-game, seven-inning shutout in a 5-0 win over Jarvis Christian. In his first start at Wayland after 17 relief appearances, the left-hander scattered six hits while striking out three and walking none, improving his record to 5-2 with wins in his last three decisions. Chris allowed only three runners to reach third base despite four errors.
