Luke competed Saturday on Senior Day when Wayland, ranked the equivalent of 38^th in the NAIA, pulled off an historic victory against No. 11 Oklahoma City University.

A 184-pound freshman from Georgetown, Texas, Luke pinned his opponent, OCU senior Tanner Borror, to get Wayland on the board after the Stars won the first two matches of the dual. The upset victory helped spur the Pioneers to an eventual 22-20 victory, Wayland’s first-ever victory over OCU.
 
Luke is 13-9 overall on the season and 6-3 in dual matches.
 
The WBU men next compete Friday in a dual at Oklahoma Wesleyan before hosting the SAC Championships on Feb. 16.
