Tre, a senior from Ashton Hall, Barbados, was honored by the Sooner Athletic Conference as men’s track athlete of the week after he shined at the Texas Tech Open. He finished second in the 800 (1:50.20, converted to 1:51.46) and as part of the distance medley relay (10:21.14, converted to 10:24.5), and also anchored the winning 4x400 relay (3:11.37, converted to 3:14.88).
 
Tre's 800 time and the mile relay clocking are the fastest in the NAIA this season, while the DMR's time is fifth-best. Two weeks ago, Tre turned in the NAIA's top time in the 600, an event in which he is two-time defending champion, to earn SAC athlete of the week honors.
