Donte, a junior from Copperas Cove, Texas, turned in the NAIA’s fourth-best triple jump of the season, 48 feet, 1¾ inches, at the 92^nd annual Clyde Littlefield Texas Relays in Austin. The 2018 indoor national triple jump champion, Donte also competed in the 110-meter hurdles and met the “A” national qualifying standard with a time of 14.73 seconds.
