A 6-foot, 210-pound sophomore linebacker from Andrews, Casey set a school record when he returned an interception 98 yards for a touchdown with just 27 seconds left in the Pioneers’ final game of the season against No. 21 Langston. It was the second INT of the season for Casey, who also recorded five tackles (2 solo, 3 assists) and a pass break-up against the Lions.
His 98-yard pick-6 broke record for longest INT return by a Pioneer, previously held by David Garza, who ran one back 82 yards against Langston last season.
