As the Pioneers swept NCAA Division II Adams St., Colo., Brendon had a monster series with four homers, including a three-run, two-run shot in the bottom of the eighth of the finale that completed Wayland’s comeback from a six-run deficit for an 11-9 victory. Brendon also had a solo homer earlier in the game after also homering in Saturday’s first game as well as Friday’s series opener. For the weekend he wound up going 5-for-13 (.385) with the four homers, a triple, eight RBIs, and six runs. He posted a 1.462 slugging percentage.

A 5-foot-11 senior designated hitter from Amarillo, Foust has five homers on the season to share the NAIA lead. Additionally, he ranks ninth in the NAIA with 12 RBI and 10^th in runs scored with 11. His efforts have helped the 8-0 Pioneers to their best start since 2004.
