At the NAIA Outdoor Track & Field Championships in Marion, Ind., Turner posted first-place finishes in the 200 meters (20.88 seconds) and as part of the 4x400 relay (3:09.08) plus finished third in the 100 (10.54). Those showings helped Wayland to a fourth-place team finish with 54 points.
