Four-goal week nets Morris conference honor

Jodian Morris, who scored two goals in both of Wayland Baptist's matches last week, was named Sooner Athletic Conference Women's Soccer Offensive Player of the Week.
 
Morris, a 5-foot senior forward from Spanish Town, Jamaica, scored all four of the Pioneers' goals in a 3-2 loss to Science and Arts of Oklahoma and a 2-2 double-overtime tie with Texas Wesleyan. Both matches were on the road.
 
Morris leads Wayland in goals with seven, shots with 37, and shots on goal with 14.
 
The Pioneers (1-5-2 overall, 0-2-0 SAC) play their next two matches at home, at 5 p.m. Tuesday against St. Gregory's and 7 p.m. Saturday against Mid-America Christian.
