Wayland Baptist was ranked sixth – matching the Pioneers' place at the national tournament – in the NAIA Men's Swimming and Diving Coaches' Poll.
The national tournament was held March 1-4 in Columbus, Ga.
The sixth-place showing by the WBU men matched the program's best showing ever at nationals. The Pioneers also were sixth in 2016.
The WBU women placed 19
th at nationals.
Olivet Nazarene (Ill.) is ranked first in both the men's and women's polls after the Tigers swept the national titles.
