Argyanna Bolton has been named to the College Sports Information Directors of America Academic All-District Track & Field/Cross Country Team.

The honor recognizes both academic and athletic success. To be eligible for nomination, student-athletes must be a sophomore or above and have been enrolled at their current institution for at least a complete calendar year, have at least a cumulative 3.30 GPA, and be a starter or significant reserve who has participated in at least 50 percent of the team's events.
Bolton was recognized in District 4, which includes NAIA schools in 15 states and all of Canada.Â
At NAIA Indoor Nationals, the final meet of her collegiate career, Bolton placed eighth in the 400 meters to earn all-American honors for the 14
th time. She also qualified for nationals in the 200.
Last year, Bolton was part of WBU's national championship team in the outdoor 4x400 relay. She is a transfer from Southern University at New Orleans (SUNO) where she was a multi-time NAIA All-American.
A grad student from Jamaica, Bolton earned a degree in counseling.
Voting for academic all-district was by
CoSIDA members. First-team Academic All-District honorees advance to the
CoSIDA Academic All-America ballot. First-, second- and third-team Academic All-America® honorees will be announced in mid-June.
