The Pioneers continue their winning ways. This evening's match versus the University of Science & Arts Drovers was filled with a lot of energy. The match lasted a very long two hours and thirty-four minutes, but at the end, the Pioneers beat the Drovers 3-2. This win extends their winning streak to five games.
Fade Ogunbade ended the match with 19 kills, 6 blocks, and a .441 hitting percentage. She also got the game clinching kill in the fifth set.
Elizabeth Wirth was on a roll tonight. She had 29 assists total and 7 digs. Defensively,
Selma Sutaj had 18 digs, and leading the Pioneers in digs was
Brenna Daniel with 19 digs.
The Pioneers next home game will be this Saturday September 23rd, where they will face the Mid-America Christian University Evangels at 1:00pm in the Hutcherson Center.
