Wichita, KS – The Wayland Baptist women's wrestling team competed in the Falcon Invitational hosted by Friends University. The Pioneers had four individuals place in the top three in their weight class and overall the team finished 2
nd with 129.5 points.
Individually for Wayland Baptist,
Tess Barnett placed 2
nd in the 124 pound weight class. Barnett went 3-1 on the day.
Jordan Suarez went 5-0 on the day and won the 138 pound class on a technical fall.
Audrey Lockhart finished 3
rd in the 180 pound class.
Leilani Sanchez was 3-1 on the day and placed 2
nd in the 207 pound division.
The Pioneers return to action in the Grand View Duals in Des Moines, Iowa on Saturday, November 16.
