LUBBOCK, TX – The Pioneer Men's and Women's Cross Country teams opened the 2025 season with the Texas Tech Open where the men claimed 14
th place.
Inmaculada Delgado paced the women's squad with a Top 30 finish.
A senior from Seville, Spain, Delgado began her 2025 season with a strong start, finishing in 29
th place with a time of 24:18.8. Delgado was the highest individual finisher between both Men's and Women's teams for the Pioneers.
Sophomore
Ryder Robison paced the Men's team with a 43
rd place finish and a final time of 27:10.8.
Ethan Jonason finished just behind Robison with a final time of 28:50.7.
As a team, the Pioneers finished in 14
th place, ahead of the University of the Southwest (NM) but just behind Angelo State University.
Some other notable finishes for the Pioneers in the Women's race was
Calli Connally earning 53
rd place with a time of 25:55.0.
Celeste Landin finished right behind Connally with a time of 27:04.9.

th at the New Mexico Junior College Invitational in Hobbs, New Mexico.
