After entering the Top 10 earlier this season, Wayland Baptist has steadily climbed the rankings thanks to consistent dual victories and key wins over nationally ranked opponents. The program's success has been fueled by depth across the lineup, with multiple pairs contributing to decisive team wins.
The Pioneers now sit just outside the top tier of the national rankings, trailing only a tightly packed group of programs in what remains a highly competitive NAIA landscape. With several weeks still remaining in the regular season, Wayland Baptist is well-positioned to continue its upward trajectory.
Wayland Baptist will look to build on its No. 7 ranking as the Pioneers return to action, aiming to carry their momentum into the heart of the season and further establish themselves among the NAIA's best on the sand.
