KANSAS CITY, MO. --- Wayland Baptist Beach Volleyball rises into the Top 10 of the updated NAIA Women's Beach Volleyball Coaches' Top 10 Ratings, checking in at #8, per the NAIA offices.
The Pioneers moved into the Top 10 after starting the 2026 season with a 5-2 record that includes wins over #10 Texas Wesleyan and #5 Arizona Christian. The Pioneers won both of those matches by a score of 3-2.

The Pioneers will look to continue their strong start to the season this weekend when they host the WBU Classic in Plainview, Texas. Wayland Baptist will first take on Oklahoma Wesleyan at 11:00 AM on Friday, March 6
th. On Saturday, March 7
th, they will face Howard Payne at 10:00 AM and
RV Texas Wesleyan at 2:00 PM.
