GRAPEVINE, Texas – For the first time in program history, the Pioneer have received an at-large bid to compete in the 2026 NCCAA Softball World Series, per the NCCAA offices.
The Pioneers currently own a 30-25 overall record, breaking their program record for wins in a season. Last weekend, the Pioneers finished as the runners-up at the NCCAA Central Regional Championships.
In the upcoming NCCAA Softball World Series, eight teams earned qualifying bids with the Pioneers securing the 4-seed. The full eight team field will include:
- (1) Columbia International University
- (2) Southwestern Christian
- (3) Arlington Baptist
- (4) Wayland Baptist
- (5) Alice Lloyd College
- (6) University of Northwestern
- (7) Kentucky Christian University
- (8) Dallas Christian College
The NCCAA Softball World Series will be played in Grapevine, Texas at the Oak Grove Softball Complex. The games will begin on Monday, May 18
th, and the championship will be played on Wednesday, May 20
th.
The Pioneers will open the NCCAA World Series against (5) Alice Lloyd College on Monday, May 18
th, at 3:30 PM on Field 4.
