Adonis Bernal earns First Team All-SAC honors after an outstanding 2026 season. Seniors
Arcadio Martinez and
Christian Toledo were each named Second Team All-SAC, per the Sooner Athletic Conference offices.
A native of Chitre, Panama, Bernal was the Pioneers' best offensive player this season and it propelled him to First Team All-SAC honors. In 50 games played this season, Bernal hit .360 with 9 home runs, 54 RBIs, 10 doubles, 64 hits, and a .601 slugging percentage. Bernal did this while also playing catcher for the majority of the season, which makes it all the more impressive for him to receive 1
st All-SAC.
Martinez, an Amarillo, Texas native, earned 2
nd Team All-SAC after hitting .338 across 151 at-bats. He finished the 2026 season with 2 home runs, 38 RBIs, 20 runs scored, 51 hits, and a .899 OPS.
A Bronx, New York native, Toledo garnered 2
nd Team All-SAC after batting .321 in 137 at-bats with 6 home runs, 33 RBIs, 44 runs scored, 24 stolen bases, 44 hits, and a .547 slugging percentage.
These three athletes helped the Pioneers qualify for the 2026 SAC Baseball Championships and finish the 2026 season with a 29-21 overall record.
