High school awards/honors: Lettered in football two years at Royse City High School…honorable mention all-district in 2012

Why did you choose to come to Wayland and represent the Pioneers? The coaches showed interest after not playing football for a year, and the environment was really friendly.

How did you get started playing football and how old were you? I started playing football my freshman year of high school because I loved to watch it and figured I might as well try playing.

What do you feel like you bring to your team, both athletically and personally? I’m not as good as I used to be, but if I keep working I feel I could make a least a little impact. Personally, I’m a care taker type of guy. I will protect my family and my team.

What are your goals for the future after college? I want to become a head coach eventually, but until then I want to help make a difference in kids’ lives.
