Keefner joins the Pioneer coaching staff after over 30 years spent coaching high school football.  He served 27 of those years under Pioneer Coach Butch Henderson at Borger and Lubbock Coronado high schools. A graduate of Cypress-Fairbanks High School where he participated in both football and track and field, Keefner played football collegiately at Sam Houston State University. Keefner and his wife, Peri, also a graduate of Cy-Fair, have five grown children and five grandchildren.
