High School Awards/Achievements: Lettered in basketball four years at Water Valley High School…led Water Valley to a 1A State Championship title in 2014...2014 state tournament MVP…TABC 1A Player of the Year…third team all-state
Why did you choose to come to Wayland and represent the Pioneers? To play basketball and stay closer to home and my family.
How did you get started playing basketball and how old were you? My dad is a basketball coach so I grew up in the gym and I fell in love with the game immediately.
What has been your proudest athletic achievement to date? Winning the state championship with my brother as a teammate and dad as a coach.
What do you feel like you bring to your team, both athletically and personally? I feel like athletically I bring a high basketball IQ, a great work ethic and potential. Personally, I feel like I bring a positive attitude, leadership and a good sense of humor.
What are you goals for the future after college? Become a teacher and coach at a small, Texas high school and start a family.
