Prior to WBU: Played baseball two years at New Mexico JC and one year at Kansas State before transferring to Wayland to play his senior season

Why did you choose to come to Wayland and represent the Pioneers? I chose to come to Wayland to play baseball. Having an extra year of eligibility to play another sport, Coach Henderson allowed me to join the football team and I’m going to do what I can to help.

How did you get started playing football and how old were you? I played football from when I was young through high school. My dad played football and he was one of the main influences that got me started.

What has been your proudest athletic achievement to date? For football, beating our crosstown rivals for the district championship in high school.

What do you feel like you bring to your team, both athletically and personally? Athletically, I will strive to do my best every down of the game. Personally, I am a good leader and team player.

What are your goals for the future after college? I plan on going to PT school
and becoming a physical therapist. I would also like to train athletes.
