Kanade helped the women’s soccer team to a 2-0 shutout victory over Huston-Tillotson in the Pioneers’ lone match last week. A 5-foot-7 freshman goalkeeper from Chigasaki, Kanagawa, Japan, Kanade recorded five saves in posting the clean sheet, her second of the year. She has 19 saves in five outings, a 1.40 goals-against average and a .731 save percentage.
