Last weekend Jovany Padilla hit .500 against Mid-America Christian, catching all three games for the Pioneers. Padilla also slugged .900, hitting a double and his first home run of the season. The senior from Caguas, Puerto Rico drove in five runs in a three-game sweep over the Evangels.
