Gregg had a monster week as he helped the 24^th-ranked Pioneers to their program-record 44^th win and into the championship game of the Sooner Athletic Conference Tournament, one win from the program’s first conference title. The 6-foot-1 sophomore third baseman from Amarillo batted .692 (9-for-13) as WBU (44-14) defeated tourney host Oklahoma City (8-6) and twice beat No. 22 Texas Wesleyan (13-8 and 10-8). Gregg had three hits in all three games and scored a total of nine five runs with five RBI. He hit his team-leading 13^th home run of the season in the tourney-opening win over OCU. He carried a .923 slugging percentage for the week.
