Michael was named Central States Football Defensive Player of the Week for the second straight week following the Pioneers’ 24-23 home-opening victory over Texas College. The 6-foot, 185-pound senior linebacker from Fort Worth logged a career-high 20 tackles (9 solo, 11 assists) and had one of the Pioneers’ nine tackles for loss. Michael's 20 tackles were eight more than his previous best of 12 which he recorded on two occasions, most recently two weeks ago against Austin College. Michael ranks third in the NAIA in tackles per game with 11.8,
