Quintaveon was named Most Valuable Performer as he led the Pioneer men to the title at the NAIA Indoor Track & Field National Championships. He set a new NAIA national indoor meet record in the 400 meters with a time of 46.21 seconds, shattering the previous mark of 46.95 set by Ramon Miller of Dickinson State (N.D.) in 2007. The junior from Sandersville, Ga., also took first place in the 200 and ran on the second-place 4x4 relay, scoring a total of 22 points. Coach Brian Whitlock: "What a stud he is. He's unbelievable. He broke a national record (in the 400) then came back in the 200 and won that one, which we really needed. That was a tough double. He had a phenomenal meet."
