Leon shined at the outdoor season-opening Wes Kittley Invitational hosted by Abilene Christian University. The senior from Orlando, Fla., turned in a personal-best mark in the long jump of 25 feet, 0-¾ inches. It is the NAIA’s best long jump of the season thus far, and Leon was named Sooner Athletic Conference Men’s Track Athlete of the Week. Assistant coach Kurt Henry: “That’s a great accomplishment for Leon.”
