Wayland lost its opener to Rocky Mountain (Mont.) before winning its next three over York (Neb.), Johnson & Wales (Colo.), and Providence (Mont.).
Sharratt totaled 38 kills with nine errors and hit .326 over the 13 sets. She also recorded eight aces, one solo block and 11 block-assists. Her best outing was against Providence, a team with numerous 6-foot players, as she had 13 kills, three aces and six block-assists.
SAC Defender of the Week is Kayley Davis of St. Gregory's, and Setter of the Week is Sophia Ivy of Southwestern Assemblies of God University.
Sharratt and the Pioneers (3-1) next play at 7 p.m. (CST) Wednesday in Hobbs, N.M., against University of the Southwest. Wayland then heads to San Antonio for the Hotel Indigo at the Alamo Saints Classic, hosted by Our Lady of the Lake University. The Pioneers open against No. 5 Lindsey Wilson (Ky.) at 3 p.m. Friday.
