Teresha Jacobs placed fourth while
Dennis Kiptoo took 10
th to lead Wayland Baptist's women's and men's teams at the Oklahoma Baptist University Invitational here Friday.

In the women's race, Jacobs paced WBU by finishing with a time of 11 minutes, 58.07 seconds in the 3,200-meter race. Emma Downing of host OBU won in 11:34.45. OBU runners claimed four of the top six spots.

The men's 6,400-meter race saw 38 participants. Kiptoo came in with a time of 21:39.63 while the winner, Christian Arenivar of OBU, broke the tape in 20:54.12.

OBU won both the men's and women's competitions. Complete team results were not immediately available.
The event was the third of the season for Wayland and first of the spring semester after competition was suspended last fall. Friday's meet is the final event planned for WBU prior to the Sooner Athletic Conference Championships on March 27 in Oklahoma City.
