Celeste Lozano to run cross country & track

Wayland Baptist cross country and track & field coach Brian Whitlock has signed Celeste Lozano, a long-distance runner from Christoval.

Lozano was a state qualifier in cross country at Christoval High School.

"We're excited to have Celeste. She is a wonderful, Christian young lady who will be good for us academically and athletically," Whitlock said. "She will give us some much-needed depth in cross country on the back end."

She will be a pre-nursing/biology major at Wayland.
