SILOAM SPRINGS, Ark. --- Senior
Inmaculada Delgado qualifies for the NAIA Women's Cross Country Championships after a 9
th place finish at the 2025 Sooner Athletic Conference Women's Cross Country Championships. Wayland Baptist finished in 6
th place overall.
A native of Seville, Spain, Delgado has been the consistent leader for the Pioneer Women's Cross Country team, and that continued on Saturday morning when she finished in 9
th place at the SAC Championships with a time of 23:31.63.
With the Top 15 finish, Delgado earned All-Conference recognition and qualified for the NAIA Women's Cross Country National Championships that are set to take place on Friday, November 21
st in Tallahassee, Florida.
Sophomore
Mercedes Celis narrowly missed receiving All-Conference honors after finishing in 18
th place with a time of 25:28.11.
Jazmine Jackson finished just behind with a time of 27:21.68, which placed her in 30
th place.
Amber Seay finished just behind Jackson in 36
th place with a time of 27:41.85.
