Baseball series moved to Wilder Field

Due to cold weather in Kansas

Due to expected cold weather in Kansas, Wayland Baptist's four-game series at McPherson College has been moved to Plainview.

The Pioneers (8-4) and Bulldogs (2-2) will meet in a pair of doubleheaders beginning at 2 p.m. Friday and noon Saturday.

Wayland and McPherson competed in the Cajun Collision in Louisiana this weekend, both winning their first two games before losing their last two. The Pioneers defeated No. 12 MidAmerica Nazarene (Kan.), 5-4 in nine innings, and Benedictine, 1-0, before falling to Clarke (Iowa), 19-0, and Tabor (Kan.), 1-0. The Bulldogs beat Benedictine, 9-5, and Mid-America Christian (Okla.), 8-2, then lost to No. 4 LSU-Shreveport, 9-2 and Louisiana Christian, 13-2.

McPherson is ranked the equivalent of 26th in the NAIA.
