The Wayland Baptist softball team has cancelled two games but picked up another.
The Pioneers, who last week played the first two games in program history against University of the Southwest (N.M.), were set to play Midland College Friday and Saturday. Those games have been cancelled.
Meanwhile, the Pioneers picked up a game set for 3 p.m. Monday, March 13 at Odessa College. Â
Before then, WBU will play a doubleheader at Clarendon College March 8 and two at Howard College in Big Sping March 10 and 11.
(Wayland is playing an all-road exhibition schedule in 2023 before competing as a Sooner Athletic Conference team with a countable schedule in 2024.)
