Due to the high probability of rain in Waxahachie on Friday, this weekend's baseball games between Wayland Baptist and Southwestern Assemblies of God University have been pushed back a day.
The Pioneers and Lions now will play a doubleheader Saturday starting at noon followed by a single game Sunday starting at 1 p.m.
Wayland (21-10, 6-3 Sooner Athletic Conference) takes a season-best eight-game winning streak into the series against league-leading, 23
rd-ranked SAGU (24-9, 9-3). Thus far in SAC play the Lions have swept Science & Arts of Oklahoma and Central Christian (Kan.) while winning two from Southwestern Christian and one from No. 17 Texas Wesleyan. WBU has swept Central Christian and Oklahoma-Panhandle State while being swept by No. 11 Oklahoma City University.
