Time for series-opener pushed back

Wet weather has pushed back the start time for Friday's Wayland Baptist-Southwestern Christian series opener to 4 p.m.

The Pioneers and Eagles will play a doubleheader beginning at noon Saturday. Senior recognition for the Pioneers in their final home series of the season will take place prior to Saturday's doubleheader beginning at 11:30 a.m. at Wilder Field.

It's the second time the series was adjusted because of weather issues.

WBU (25-19, 10-11 Sooner Athletic Conference) and SCU (31-16, 10-11) are tied for sixth place in the league standings.
