Kansas City – The Pioneer Men's Wrestling team traveled to Kansas City, Missouri to compete in the Avila University Eagle Duals where they went 3-1 with impressive team wins over Baker University, Waldorf University, and Avila University.
Wayland Baptist, who was receiving votes for NAIA Top 20 consideration in the most recent polling, first took on Baker University. In dominant fashion, the Pioneers defeated Baker 41-9, earning four wins by fall and two by major decisions.
